Answers to Your Quick Questions

How should I prepare for a club fitting?

You should ideally be in golf form with your swing. We need you with a few range sessions or rounds under your belt so that we are getting our best representation of what your swing looks like on the course so that we can properly fit the clubs to your swing.

What does a launch monitor measure, and why does it matter?

A launch monitor, specifically the Foresight Falcon, measures Ball Speed, Club Speed, Club Path, Lie angle at impact, Launch Angle, Backspin, Sidespin, and more. These variables help identify deficiencies in the swing and/or the improper equipment based on your Swing DNA.

Can I use simulator rounds toward my USGA handicap?

No, rounds played on a simulator cannot be used for your official USGA or World Handicap System (WHS) handicap index. The scores must be from rounds played on a physical course with a valid Course Rating and Slope Rating under the actual Rules of Golf.

How often should I regrip my clubs?

You should replace golf grips every 12–18 months or every 30–40 rounds, but replacement frequency depends on your playing habits, climate, and grip condition. Look for signs like shiny, cracked, or hard grips, as these indicate a loss of tackiness and performance, requiring replacement sooner.

What’s the benefit of loft and lie adjustments?

If your lie angle isn't perfect. An incorrect golf club lie angle can cause a shot to go off-target. For a right-handed golfer, a lie angle that is too upright (toe up) will cause the clubface to point left, pulling the ball left of the target. A lie angle that is too flat (toe down) will cause the clubface to point right, pushing the ball right of the target.

What is PuttView, and how does it improve putting practice?

PuttView is an interactive putting technology that uses projectors to display a visual guide for putts directly on the green. It provides real breaks, start lines, putt pace lines and more to help a golfer identify areas for improvement within their putting stroke.
